Skagen
Skagen is a fishing town located in the northernmost part of Jutland. The royal family built their summer residence Klitgaarden here in 1914. Although everything in this city is about fishing, especially herring fishing, tourism is on the rise and over 2 million tourists visit Skagen every year. In addition to museums, windmills, lighthouses, art colonies, be sure to visit the beach Skagen Sønderstrand, if you are staying in Skagen during the summer.
