Rubjerg Knude

Rubjerg Knude is one of the attractions of the northern part of the country. This lighthouse was built in 1900. The soil in this place is subject to erosion, so the buildings that stand here were exposed to the danger of falling into the sea. Thus, this lighthouse is predicted to fall into the sea in 2023. Therefore, this 23-meters-high building, weighing 720 tons was moved 70 meters deeper into the land. That should ensure its existence until 2060.
