Roskilde Cathedral
Roskilde Cathedral is the most important church in Denmark because members of the Danish royal family have been buried there since the 15th century. It was built on island Zealand during the 12th and 13th centuries in a combination of Gothic and Romanesque architectural styles. The building has been included on the UNESCO list since 1995. Roskilde Cathedral is visited annually by more than 170,000 tourists.
