Terezín

Located in North Bohemia, Terezin nowadays represents an important memorial site since this former military fortress was a prison, a ghetto and the largest concentration camp in the Czech Republic during World War II. Visitors can tour the concentration camp as well as the monument dedicated to Holocaust victims.
