Kolossi Castle

Once a Crusader stronghold in the south of Cyprus, Kolossi Castle is a major tourist attraction. The castle, as it is today, was built in 1454 by the Hospitallers, the Knights of the Order of St John of Jerusalem. Visitors can feel the spirit of ancient times when the Crusaders walked through these walls, leaving and returning from the march on the Holy Land.
