Baracoa

One of the hidden gems of the country, Baracoa was once the capital of Cuba. The town is surrounded by a wide mountain range, which causes it to be quite isolated. This is the wettest region in the country, and it rains every day here. Despite the idyllic location, the remote location has kept the influence of mass tourism quite low in this region.
