Lokrum
Aside from sightseeing Dubrovnik’s sturdy fortifications, which exude with the medieval rich charm, visitors can opt for some fun activities such as sea kayaking to Lokrum. This is a great way to explore the Adriatic coast. Such a tour lasts about a half-day and is accompanied by a trained instructor. The trip starts from the foot of Lovrijenac Fortress (just outside the city walls), skirting around Dubrovnik’s medieval walls, taking the tourists to the lush and mysterious island of Lokrum, which is also called “The Island of Love”. Here they can spend time on Betina beach, where they can engage in snorkeling and exploring the botanical garden.
