The Great Wall of China
The magnificent Great Wall of China stretches more than 6,000 kilometers from the fortresses of Shanhaiguan in the east all the way to Jiayuguan in the west. This UNESCO World Heritage Site has the most visited wall section near Beijing called Badaling Pass. The wall is seven meters high on average, but there are sections even 16 meters high.
