Lauca National Park

Lauca National Park is located in the very north of the country, along the border with Bolivia. The area of the park is 1380 square kilometers and includes snow-capped volcano domes, thermal water springs, and crystal clear lakes. On the pastures, by the lake, you will find herds of vicuñas, llamas, alpacas, guanacos, and tarucas grazing. The sky is dominated by the famous Andean condor and Chilean flamingo. This park stretches from 3000 to 6300 meters above sea level so visitors will beyond doubt be left breathless!
