Deserto de Viana

Deserto de Viana is another phenomenon on the Cape Verde archipelago. Located on Boa Vista island, occupying the northwestern part of the island, this is a real sandy desert in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean! Although small, this area reminds visitors that the African continent is just over 550 kilometers away.
