Sarajevo Tunnel

Sarajevo Tunnel is also known as the Tunnel of Hope, constructed in 1993 during the civil war in the country's capital. Back then the tunnel was used to connect a part of territory held by Serbian forces with Bosnian-held territory on the other side. After the war, Sarajevo Tunnel Museum was established and both the museum house and the tunnel are open for visitors.
