Tiger’s Nest

Tiger’s Nest is probably one of the most famous landmarks and cultural icons of Bhutan. Also known as Paro Taktsang, this site is a Buddhist temple complex tucked on the cliffside of the Paro valley, built in the 17th century around a cave. This destination is great for adventure and nature lovers since the route towards the monastery is stunning - but not easy!
