Punakha Dzong

Punakha Dzong is probably the most beautiful dzong in Bhutan, built in the 17th century. It is also known as Pungthang Dewa chhenbi Phodrang, meaning "the palace of great happiness or bliss". This majestic structure is the second largest dzong in Bhutan and it was used as the seat of government until the 1950s.
