Dochula Pass

Dochula Pass is one of Bhutan’s most famous sites, with historical and religious importance located at an elevation of 3100 meters on the Himalayas. Queen Mother of Buthan ordered the construction of 108 chortens or stupas, in honor of 108 Bhutanese soldiers who died in a 2003 military operation.
