Lida

A charming city located in western Belarus, Lida is a popular tourist destination. One of the most dominant landmarks of Lida is 14th century Lida Castle with the trapezium-shaped fortress. The castle houses a museum with a unique exhibit on medieval torture devices. Another must-see place in Lida is Church of St. Joseph, built in the 18th century. Lida is also a home of a large Jewish community.
