Ratargul Swamp Forest
One of the rare freshwater swamp forests in the world, Ratargul Swamp Forest is considered as Sundarbans of the Sylhet area. This swamp is under the protection of the Department of Forestry and the Government of Bangladesh. This forest is submerged under 6 to 9 meters of water in the rainy season, and the rest of the year water is about 2 meters deep. Visitors can take boat tours and enjoy wildlife at its best.
