Al-Fatih Grand Mosque
The biggest mosque in the kingdom, Al-Fatih Grand Mosque was built to honor the founder of modern Bahrain, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Muhammad Bin Khalifa a.k.a. Al-Fatih, 200 years after the liberation of Bahrain from Persians. It is the most beautiful and the only mosque in Bahrain opened for general visitors, with English speaking guides that can be requested in the mosque office. When visiting, please dress modestly.
