Yanar Dag

Yanar Dag is also known as a Fire Mountain and represents a truly unique site to visit. Fire burns all year round due to the gas deposits under the surface of the sandstone. Flames can go up to three meters and the fire never gets extinguished. In this area, the State Historical-Cultural and Natural Reserve were established, as well as a museum and s permanent stone exhibition.
