Garni Temple

Garni Temple is a Greco-Roman temple, the only one still standing in Armenia and the former Soviet Union. Located near the country's capital, this site is one of the favorite spots to visit in Armenia. The temple was almost completely ruined by a strong earthquake in the 17th century and finally rebuilt in 1975, using mainly its original stones.
