UFO Observation Deck
An architectonic and engineering curiosity, asymmetrical single pylon cable-supported bridge, with a main span length of 303 meters, and the total length of 430 meters, makes this bridge seventh largest hanging bridge in the world. Built in 1972, Nový most or Most Slovenského národného povstania (Puente of the Slovak National Uprising), the bridge is also known as UFO Puente because of the observation deck on top of the pylon, that recalls a flying saucer. 84,6 meters high observatory deck serves also as a restaurant that offers a meal with a 100-kilometer view!
