Čičmany Ethno Village

The world’s first ever reservation of the folk architecture, the village of Čičmany is well known for its log houses decorated with traditional ornaments. These houses suffered a severe fire in 1921 and were rebuilt to their original appearance. In 1977 folk architecture reserve was founded, featuring preserved local folk costumes, local folk musical expression, and folk dance.
