Jozani Forest

Located within the only national park on the island - Jozani Chwaka Bay Parque Nacional - Jozani forest is a favorite tourist destination, allowing you to experience this scenic forest and indigenous animal life. The park is a home of the Zanzibar red colobus, an endemic monkey species that exists only in Zanzibar. Jozani is also known for the mangrove type of vegetation.
